getDare Forum

If you are reading this, then you know that this site is all about people's freaky fetishes, and in this section, we discuss interests of the BDSM variety. Usually, I document the typical master-slave, bondage, and submission-type kinks, but the Get Dare forum is something entirely different, I swear to you. Want to play dare or dare? Well, I dare you to read this entire article. It might be a long read, but it is totally worth it.

The Membership Levels Of This Site Is Certainly Impressive

Okay, before we delve headlong into this unique forum, I feel the need to highlight how much attention this website is getting.

So far, there are more than 270,000 threads with an excess of 4.6 million exciting posts. This has been produced by over three hundred thousand members, hundreds of which are interacting on the site. Funnily enough, while I am writing this, there are 699 active members online. And that is the average number at any time of day.

As far as engagement goes, it seems to me that just about all of them get a comment or two at a minimum. And no, I am not kidding at all. I just checked a couple of the top posts in the Truth and Dare section, which were started just the other day. In both cases, they got responses within a matter of hours, which I hardly ever see, even on equally popular messageboards.

Part of the attraction is due to how friendly the participants are, and I don't mean that flame wars are not a thing. Typically, users are very open about what their sexual "intos" are and often pin them with all of their posts. And buddy, you would be surprised as to all of the kinky shit that these people are into. To be sure, this is not a hookup website, so don't log in just to troll for ass. But if you are looking for other freaky people to talk to, your convos might lead to something more.

Now then, what is the main reason that are people into this forum?

Truth Or Dare – This Is The Main Attraction Of This Forum

If you did not read into the title, this forum focuses on everyone's favorite sophomoric but still super funny game: Truth or Dare.

But this forum takes that simple but fun game to a whole new level. For one, they have a series of monumental sections to talk about truth and dare questions. Users are very open about what sort of kinky shit they have tried and might be open to. Moreover, there is an entire section called Live Special Events, and I am sure you can guess what that refers to. These events happen in-person, through Skype and other means online, and from what I have seen they are quite electrifying.

More than that, there are also polls to gauge certain opinions of the community, particularly on subjects like what happened when you did a certain dare, or what might be stopping you.

Then there are the semi-random dares in the index. Scroll through those and you will find all sorts of fascinating suggestions for freaky things to try. Admittedly, it is a bit of a roll of the dice to see what you'll get – and that is the point! By clicking the Truth Or Dare Online, you'll get to choose between a Truth or Dare challenge and click the dice icon and get ready to get titillated.

Often, you will see that the more saucy questions get ratings and responses. It is a minor thing, but it is a pretty neat bonus, especially if you like reading anecdotes about people who have tried these challenges with others.

If you want to switch things up, you can toggle the truth or dare options, add players while on-site if you have an account, and then roll the digital dice. And if you think you have a whole bunch of unique truths or dares you would like to add, then do so by clicking on the Submit link. Just be sure to follow the rules.

Ask Me Anything – A Perfect Place For Exhibitionists

I am sure that those of you who are already champing at the bit to signup to this forum do not need much more convincing, but I have more to discuss.

As you might think, the people on this site enjoy being humiliated by strangers on the internet, which is the best place for that sort of thing as we all know. Anyway, the AMA section is very, very NSFW and has an interesting set of submissions.

Lounge – A Spot To Post Everything Else

I suppose I should bring up the fact that this site has a general section to talk about just about anything else. That is what it's used for, at least sometimes, though there is still a ton of sex talk going on, too.

This is probably why at any given time, there are dozens of users viewing and likely posting or responding. It sort of reads like Craigslist back in the day before they banned the personals section in that post that gives out their age and gender, and usually other aspects of their personality in the title. Of course, these folks are open to anything, and I mean anything, and they are very keen to respond.

The responses depend on the specifics of the post but are generally raunchy. Other posts, which are obvious from the titles, get a slew of saucy responses in which there are pretty much no limits. And that can apply to you as well. Just as long as you do not violate someone's limits (they put those in their profiles) and do not run afoul of the forum's terms of service, you are allowed to be as perverted as you want.

Kink and Education – A Place For Especially New Kinksters

Perhaps you are one of the people have stumbled across this forum or even my own website for the first time and totally don't "get it." If that is you, or there are kinks you are looking for more information about, then this forum's members have provided a trove of titillating information.

Most of the posts accessed in the getDare Playground filter are about general kink educational info, but there is also a couple of digital dungeons as well. The Humiliation and Degradation Den have all sorts of virtual games from bimbofication, sissification, and crossdressing – and there is another filter called Pet Palace which is self-explanatory.

And finally, the FemmeDom Lair is just for fellas (or at least those who claim to be chaps), to follow the orders of ladies (or at least those who are claiming to be chicks) no matter what they are. A lot of the games are about self-control and require the players to follow all of the rules. So, you will only have fun if you do as you are told, but if you commit there is plenty of fun to be had.

The Awesome Archives Are Quite Arousing

If it is not already obvious, I am making a strong pitch in favor of this forum. It's fucking fantastic, and there is so much to cover. And that's just with respect to everything that is still active. Since this forum has been around since YouTube first went live there are probably gigabytes of saved threads. I understand that looking at old posts might seem boring to some people – and when it comes to most forums I would agree.

However, given the sorts of posts that this website focuses on, their archive is certainly worth taking a look into. Going back for years, there are saved truth games, party dares, and holiday-themed games. Some of them start out a little tame, but they get pretty raunchy the more you get into them.

They Have Other Awesome Bonus Features, Too

To round down toward the end, I should highlight the fact that this site comes complete with a bunch of the usual forum features. For one, the blog has tens of thousands of entries that cover all sorts of topics which will surely titillate readers who are at very levels of kink.

As you would think, there are plenty of truth-dare style questions, though the posters might request that you respond with a personal message. (I will let your demented imaginations guess why that is.) Other posts include perverted challenges for any and all to try. Other blogs include personal posts which focus on personal fantasies or real-world sexual experiences. Besides sharing sexual text posts, others upload albums of their sexual escapades, too.

Thanks to the awesome archiving tools, you can sort through all of the posts down to the year, month, and day. Another way to locate specific saucy posts is by clicking on hyperlinks in the word cloud, or by punching in terms into the search bar.

Lastly, there are four chatrooms to hang out in, too. The first is a lounge for general discussion, another is a truth or date room, and a third is labeled Scene. This last chatroom is described as a place to "tread carefully and lurk before joining in. Not for general discussion." But this one and the first two do not see too much action.

The room that gets the most participation is named BDSM Exchange and is a perfect cyber spot to talk bondage and for doms and subs to talk, and potentially get together. You might have to linger around for a while since this room is not exactly brimming with users most of the time. But that does mean that you get a chance to focus on a particular "target" without getting lost in a continuous stream of comments being made every two-thirds of a second.

Naturally, The Registration Process Is Really Fast

When it comes to getting an account, there is not much fuss or muss. All you need to do is go through the terms of service and enter the typical basic amount of information. After you verify your email, you'll be allowed to create your profile.

Unlike most other forums, there is a nice tutorial on how to easily optimize your account to have the most fun. Everything relevant is hyperlinked and it should make the huge range of customization options a hell of a lot more manageable.

Just keep in mind that, there is technically an SFW version of this site, so you might have to toggle the adults-only version. Also, I cannot stress enough that you need to read the rules before you start posting. Of course, this is always recommended, but especially on this forum – they don't mess around.

To make things easier for all of you, the big take are to use capitalization as appropriate and not use it all or try to "scream" things through the internet by putting a huge string of words in all caps. Don't dare anyone to do anything that does not fit the description, is unrealistic, or is illegal. And since there is a "family-friendly" version of this site, mark everything that is explicit as "mature."

And as a general rule, I would "lurk" for a bit before posting so you don't add anything that has already been contributed or make a post that is not in the spirit of Get Dare.

Would I Dare You To Join This Forum?

Have I convinced you that this is one of the cleverest and most unique forums you have ever seen?

To clarify my rhetorical question given in the header, yes, I do think you should give this forum a visit. I have already joined up and not just to do this review. After already having had some fun on this forum and become inspired to take on some of these dares and use them in my own bedroom activities. Even if you do not need such ideas to improve your fuck game, a lot of the challenges on this site are fun enough for general thrill-seeking.

For those reasons and everything detailed above, this one is getting a perfect score of five hands from me. I challenge you to get a free account and I dare you to enjoy yourself.
