8K Cosplay

8kCosplay, fucking hell, do we even have 8K capable screens? How many of you even have a fucking 4K TV? This has nothing to do with 8kcosplay, by the way. I just wanted to make some idle chatter with you for a bit. Well... maybe it does. 8kcosplay offers some extremely high-quality photos and some not so good quality. Some images are also pretty small when you're in there trying to view them. This site also does quite a lot surrounding the Asian community of NSFW girls. Primarily, their focus seems to be in Chinese and Korean models.

They're all beautiful, of course. I think the ball is dropped on 8kcosplay and how they showcase these girls. From the way they've decided to design the site to how the pages for these model's sets look. It's a bit messy and could be reworked to better serve not only the models but us the visitors.

Design - Is It a Business?

I've never been a fan of sites making their designs like an actual blog. I get that it's a website but we can do away with the blog posting design. Where each and every piece of content is a new post, with a date, and some other information based on interactions. 8kcosplay has some sort of charm with this style of design. Hard to describe.

Perhaps it's the bright and eye-catching preview photos they give to get you to click. And you're then sent to that post where they show you the pictures in a row and sometimes even more in columns. 8kcosplay gives you a couple of options. The biggest one is where you can click on each image with pops you out into another window to preview the photos. Some photos take longer to load because they are of pretty good quality and can get quite big.

It's odd that they have you pop out from the main site. This is because 8kcosplay has set up an entirely different area set for previewing their photos. It can get a bit annoying on mobile just because of how phones work with tabbing out and needing to go back. But a simple "back" motion or button on your phone and you're right back to the post's page.

Content - Love for Asia

8kcosplay really loves their Asian girls. I do, too, let's be honest. They are a load of Japanese, Chinese, and Korean girls on their site either cosplaying or posing like naughty models in different clothing options. So, while the name "8kcosplay" is true, they're a part of so much more than just sexy, erotic cosplaying women.

The first basic bit of content is their cosplay. The main page features a lot of Chinese erotic cosplayers and their posts. It looks like 8kcosplay takes their photos, puts them together in a decent way, and then posts them. People are then able to preview the photos and decide if they want to download them or not. These downloads, ideally, is the full experience of these photos without them being shrunken down or whatever to fit on this blog.

Some girls being featured on the site are "idols" which is a term often used overseas for girls who are either in porn or in something like this where their photos are taken. And the pictures are all great. 8kcosplay does make mention of there being videos on the site. I have yet to come across anything like that. I'd assume they could be packaged with the download bundles for the photos. I feel as though they could at least provide a preview of these videos on the posts, too. Just for a little extra something.

They then offer something called "Mobile Cosplay." At first, I had no idea why the fuck it was called that. But 8kcosplay describes it as being photos with mobile quality in mind. To quote the site, they say, "random mobile quality cosplay images." These images are taken and made to fit perfectly on your mobile device. It's nice that they're thinking about all of us mobile degenerates! There are quite a lot of photo packages there, too, for visitors to sink their teeth into.

I then started to get into their Chinese and Korean idols. These women are beautiful and each come with their own sections. There are times where I've come across different models from other countries in the other areas but their specific pages are where you'll find the bulk of them. The Chinese section has actually broken these girls down into studios that 8kcosplay is close with. In these studios you'll find them all labeled with that studio and the girls a part of that photo shoot. There are so many to go through.

For the Korean section, you'll find loads of Korean idols posing naked, mostly naked, or really erotic in clothing. While they're not so much tied to studios like the Chinese models are on the site, they're still neatly displayed.

A Hub for Asian Eroticism (The Positives)

8kcosplay is so much more than just cosplay. It's probably their main course, what they hope you'll come and enjoy first. But they can offer visitors like myself so much more to get involved with. I've got so many tabs open still after looking through the site. So much to get into, learn about, unravel, and still find enjoyment with.

I can put aside the odd design choices for now and focus on what they offer. 8kcosplay's offerings are like a book. A thick ass book filled with pages and pages of Asian eroticism. Girls from Japan, China, and South Korea are all here posing and looking so damn fine.

I can enjoy how they broken things down. While some areas, like the cosplay one, aren't tied down to just one specific country. I found girls from Japan posing in cosplay, China, too. Each area has its own theme and fits perfectly so you're not confused as to what you're looking at. You may feel that you'll click on something and it'll take a quick beat to load. That's just because of the quality of the photos and they also offer download links that can nearly be a gig's worth of data.

8kcosplay seems to have a strong understanding of who they and who they want to be with the porn they provide. They wanted to be involved with cosplay and have done so. But they're also not shy or afraid to branch out and start bringing in Chinese idols and Korean idols to post and look sexy.

A Little Stale (The Negatives)

8kcosplay's design is a little bit stale. But it's odd for me. In some areas I enjoy the way they've got the posts set up because everything is vibrant and colorful. There are naked or half-nude girls everywhere on this website. In other ways, I hate it because it should be more about trying to make this site about photos easy for visitors to digest.

They do offer one other bit of content but it's more community driven. 8kcosplay does provide a "forum." I say it like that because it starts out looking like a forum but then quickly turns into a blog post where people can only comment. It doesn't feel very forum-y and seems to be something they just threw in just to throw in.

A Quick Refresh (My Suggestions)

I think that, because 8kcosplay has so much Asian influence, they can really use that to revamp the website entirely. Give each area its own theme, its own feeling. When you're looking at sexy cosplays, let the design reflect that. When you're looking at the Chinese girls, let the page be all about them, and the latest Chinese idol you've got on the website.

Don't be afraid to make banners and large photos that advertise someone new who's come and been posted on the site.

They should also change how they operate previewing photos. There is a better way to do it than to pop people out of their current tab just to preview a photo. It's one thing if the preview opens in a new tab and it's just the photo filling up the screen. But 8kcosplay has created this odd preview page for the photos with a shit ton of links. It's not really necessary. 

In Conclusion

8kcosplay is a literal hub of erotic Asian girls cosplaying and posing naked or half-nude. Their models are the very definition of beautiful. 8kcosplay also doesn't let the ball drop when it comes to cosplay and showing off their models. They provide their name, studio they might belong to, and package their photos up together from the same shoot.

There are so interesting decisions made with design and how to operate photo previews, though. But the ability to not only preview and have the option to download high-quality images is what has 8kcosplay holding strong.
